Photoshoot__iphone

Did a shoot again with a fellow student from Uni, as well as an amazing Photographer! Follow him on Instagram, search for Greatarsenal !!

So, before we start shooting he'd take a few shots with his iphone as a warm up, which always helps 'cos I'm more comfortable posing in front of the iphone, it's VERY evident when you see the originals from the camera later on.

Throughout the shoot I've had a number of clothing changes, and the amazing Ope, held the bag for me the entire day!!

& trust me, it was incredibly heavy!!! So hands down to the photographer + superman!

Want to check out more of his work? Check out; his website !!

So, before the shoot I was incredibly stiff and nervous 'cos outdoor shoots always hits my nerves since people will be watching and so on, however - the key is to imagine yourself posing in front of the mirror at home and TRY your hardest to eliminate all the people watching.

Outdoor changing room and magazine inspiration!

TIP: Always have a few magazines on you for inspiration, 'cos when your running out of poses you'll feel stupid trying to make some up, always have reference or just a gut load of confidence!

TIP: Find your best angle!! Know which angle looks best for you and face that way as often as you can, and let the photographer know for a second opinion!

TIP: HAVE FUN! Have as much fun as you can, travelling and taking pictures is an extremely TIRING thing to do but if your having fun, time flies by and by the time your finished your wondering when it'll happen again :)

Definitely just spotted an Olympic Mascot in Shoreditch and quickly snapped a friendly pose with him!

Of course, Ope wouldn't miss some 'behind the scenes' photos :)

Mid-talking! How attractive ... =.=''

AH - had a lovely day and special thanks to OPE.O!

PEACE!!

Ate: Bibimbap (Soho)

So I've had Korean cuisine' at a few places already but it's the first time to something like this :O Bibimbap is located at the heart of Soho making it a popular place to go to.

WHAT IS BIBIMBAP?

Bibimbap is a popular traditional Korean dish and the meaning of the word is ''mixed rice'' and quite literally,t hey have a concrete (super heavy so don't attempt to lift it yourself), bowl filled with yummy meats and vegetable and occasionally according to preference, egg is a good additional choice to order with.

The prices are pretty reasonable, here I have ordered myself a ''Beef Bool-Go-Gi'' for £6.95.

The menu ranges from traditional Bibimbaps to salads, noodles and rice dishes.

On the side we also ordered a portion of:

  1. Jap Chae (£4.45) - Glass noodles (dangmyeon) pan fried with vegetables seasoned seasame and soy sauce.
  2. Spicy Rice Cake (£4.45) - With a rich spicy chilli sauce, stir-fried long rice cakesand vegetables.
  3. Kimchi (£1.00) - Traditional spicy pickled cabbage
THE PHOTOS:

There's a huge collection of polaroid photos her at Bibimbap, so we decided to add our own special touch to the wall too :)

Haul: Camden Fashion Stalls

It was such a lovely day here today in London - it would have been such a shame to miss out on the sunshine. Beach isn't going to cut it today, so here we are - chilling at Camden and browsing through their markets and of course I purchased myself a few goodies.

Thanks to the sunshine I was feeling very summery so I grabbed myself a couple of these brand/logo vest tops; Heineken being my first choice, please excuse my messy hair - it was a rushed little shoot.

My second choice is of course Jack Daniels! I'm personally not a drinker myself, but I've always thought that alcohol bottles are very pretty ...

When buying goods from Camden, REMEMBER REMEMBER to KEEP looking around before hastily pulling out your purse/wallet to pay for it, because you ARE most likely going to find the SAME thing further down the market for a cheaper price, or at least a better seller who is more willing to bargain and lower the price for you!

TIPS TO BARGAIN:
  • If you have your eyes on a couple or even a few items, ask if they'd lower the price if you bought TWO.
  • Suggest that you have seen the item else where, at another stall who was selling for a lower price.
  • When giving a 'offering price' always start LOW, as LOW as you can (i.e: if an item costs £20, suggest £10, let them negotiate and raise the price from there onwards)
  • CONCEAL CONCEAL CONCEAL how much you want the item, the more you act as if you could pass up on it the more likely they'll keep grabbing you back for a lower price

TIPS TO SHOP IN CAMDEN:

  • Bring a large recycling bag, or a just ... any large bag, 'cos trust me, the shopping bags they give you aren't going to be trendy paper bags you'd get from Zara or Topshop so you'd want to put bags within another bag!
  • Camden is ALWAYS packed with people, so you'd want to minimise your load, putting bags within other bags would make you less of a victim for people to shove.
  • When walking past food stalls, and you get people YELLING (yes, just like that) at you to try their food, don't be too shy with them, if you take the samples their not going to force you to buy it! When your on a budget, these samples go a LONG way!
  • DO NOT slow down you pace when something catches your eye, if you want to look at something, step aside and into the store and not slowing down your walking speed, people behind you aren't going to be happy!
  • SINGLE FILE, people are VERY confused with the concept of 'single file', you DO NOT have to stand arm in arm, side by side with ALL your friends, if you want a conversation wait till it's appropriate, DO NOT take up the entire pavement, it causes a lot of unnecessary traffic.

Ate: Japanese, Camden

For those who hadn't been to Camden before, I am rather disappointed in you! I JOKE!! Seriously ... I joke.

So ... Camden is comprised of a number of stalls open from 10:00 - 18:00 Monday - Sunday, so if your interested in going, don't leave it too late!

The main attraction is probably the multi-cultural and diverse fast-food stalls, throughout the Market. The market is split between a number of outdoor spaces, so you are likely to expect similar foods as you walk along the market space, so don't worry if you missed out on the first stall, you'll definitely be able to find another that sells similar foods.

HOWEVER, over time and trying out different stalls, you'll definitely develop a 'favourite', like the following Japanese stall I am recommending above.

Unlike the rest of the food-stalls across the Market that has pre-prepared food to serve, this stall here prepares the food fresh, which usually take 3-4 minutes tops.

Recommendation;

  1. Chicken/Pork Katsu Curry
  2. Thin Sliced Beef in Teriyaki Sauce

Of course, we wouldn't settle for anything other than the best; Teriyaki Beef <3 Personally, I'm totally in LOVE with the red-radish they use as a side salad here, I asked the lady what it was exactly and she told me it was a Japanese Radish called Fukujin-Zuke or something like that (correct me if I'm wrong).

YUMMY!!

MCM Expo (May Edition)

This years MCM was both a celebration of being a nerd as well as my sister Rachel's birthday.

Of course, Ryu & Ken are running around barefoot, it always worries me when people are walking around shoe-less ...

The smallest Lilly ... EVER!

Literally had to run down the expo shouting after Uruhara for him to stop ... he didn't recognise his own name o.O

Gals as Ouran High School Host Club??????

When I asked Goku to give me a Kame-hame-HA, he asked if he had to make the sound effects too, I giggled and spared him some dignity!

Loving Rin's dress!!!!

Leave a comment down below, where have you seen the smallest Batman? Mine? MCM Expo?

Drugged up Totoro ... clearly chilling at the Expo wasn't fun enough for him!

Who watched TEDand tell me - wasn't this the FUNNIEST movie you've seen in a while?

Of course, cam-whoring with the Death Note!

Since it's Rachel's Birthday, we headed over to Central to Rain Forest Cafe for her Birthday Meal :) Although she hated attention, we got her a mini-cake from China Town and asked the staff to bring it over, got her to stand up for everyone to sing!

Pasta is SERVED!
